Privacy settings

Graphmark keeps your maps on your Mac and contains no analytics, advertising or tracking. The one setting that lets it contact a server is the new-version notice, and it is off until you turn it on.

The new-version notice

Choose Graphmark > Settings (⌘,) and click Privacy. The setting Tell me when a new version is in the App Store is off by default.

When you turn it on, Graphmark asks lakoy.com once a day which version is current. The request names the app and the platform and nothing else. If a newer version is available, Graphmark shows it in the Privacy settings with an Open App Store button, and as a menu item under About Graphmark. The App Store delivers the update itself.

Turn the setting off to stop the requests.

Your documents

Graphmark opens and saves files only where you put them. It does not send a map, or anything in it, anywhere. The folders you give it access to are remembered on your Mac only. See Graphmark asks for access to a folder.

Graphmark works without a network connection.

The privacy policy

The Lakoy privacy policy describes what Lakoy processes for its websites, Markant and Graphmark, and the rights you have. You can also open it from Help > Privacy Policy and from the Privacy settings in Graphmark.
