Graphmark support
How Graphmark works, and what to do when something does not.
Guides
- Getting started Make a first map, add branches from the keyboard, and save it as Markdown or as a Graphmark package.
- Keyboard shortcuts Every keyboard command in Graphmark, grouped by the menu it belongs to.
- Your map is a Markdown file How a map is written as a nested list, what the companion .graphmark.yaml file holds, and when to use a Graphmark package instead.
- Using Graphmark with an Obsidian vault Open vault notes as maps, follow wikilinks between them, and grant folder access once for the whole vault.
- Layout and orientations Choose which way a map grows and how children are arranged, place branches by hand, fold branches and focus on one.
- Themes and the theme editor Pick one of the ten themes, adjust it for one map, save your own themes, and share them as files.
- Pictures Add a picture to a branch, choose where a Markdown map keeps its pictures, and move embedded pictures out of the file.
- Opening MindNode documents and themes Open .mindnode documents and .pkgf backups as Graphmark maps, and import your own MindNode themes.
- Copy and paste Copy branches as formatted text, Markdown, PDF or PNG, and paste lists and pictures into a map.
- Privacy settings What Graphmark sends, the optional new-version notice and where to find the privacy policy.
Troubleshooting
- Graphmark asks for access to a folder Why a panel asks to grant Graphmark access to a folder, what to choose, and what happens if you decline.
- Pictures do not appear A branch shows its title but not its picture. The usual causes are folder access, a picture outside the map's folder, or a picture on the web.
